
Neonatal Resuscitation Program
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills.

Essential NRP Provider
Advanced NRP Provider
Essential course requirements: The learner studies the textbook chapters 1 through 4 and completes the Online Learning Assessment. Within 30 days of completing the Learning Assessment, the learner attends an instructor-led essentials course.
Prior to attending your classroom session, the NRP Online Exam Chapters 1-4 are required. You must complete the exam and submit a copy of your certificate to your instructor in the 30 days prior to attending your in-class day.
2-YEAR CERTIFICATION
Blended Learning:
Chapters 1-4 studied at your own pace
4 hrs in classroom
Advanced course requirements: After completing the Online Learning Assessment, the NRP Advanced learner is required to take the NRP Advanced Exam (35 questions relevant to material in lessons 5 through 11). Then, within 30 days, the learner completes an Instructor-led Advanced course and attains an Advanced Card.
